Terms, plainly

Last updated September 6, 2026

LinkCart is a small app run by Recursis Holdings. Using it means you agree to what's on this page. We've kept it short and in plain words, because we'd rather you actually read it.

What LinkCart does

You give us a recipe — a link, a photo, pasted text, a video — and we turn it into a grocery list and fill your Kroger pickup cart with the items you tap. That's the whole job. You always check out yourself, in the Kroger app, under your control. LinkCart cannot place an order, charge you, or change an order once it's placed.

Kroger is Kroger, not us

Kroger is a separate company. Your Kroger account, its terms, its prices, its stock, its pickup times and its cart are theirs. We use Kroger's public developer API to add items you chose; we don't control what Kroger shows, what it substitutes, or whether an item is really on the shelf. If something on the Kroger side goes wrong, Kroger is the one who can fix it.

Allergen & ingredient screening — read this one

If you set blocked ingredients (an allergy, alpha-gal, anything), LinkCart checks each product's label against your list and tells you one of three things: the label says it contains it, the label doesn't mention it (not found), or we can't determine from the label. That's it.

Please read the physical label and talk to your doctor or allergist. If a reaction could put you in the hospital, don't rely on any app — including this one — to keep you out of it.

Recipe changes are cooking ideas, not medical advice

"Make it vegan," "make it lower-carb," the diet flags, the nutrition numbers we pass through from Kroger's labels, the Chef's recipes — all of that is a cooking suggestion from software. It is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, and it doesn't know your health. Nutrition numbers are shown exactly as Kroger publishes them; we don't verify them.

What we ask of you

Your recipes, your data

Recipes you save stay yours; we keep them so your recipe box works. What we store and why is spelled out in Privacy, plainly. We never sell your data. Email us and we'll delete your account and everything in it.

No warranty (the honest version)

LinkCart is a small beta built by a tiny team. It's provided "as is," without warranties of any kind — no promise it's always up, error-free, or that every match is the product you meant. A recipe parser can misread a quantity; a product match can be the wrong size. Please double-check your cart before you check out. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us for LinkCart in the past twelve months (right now, that's $0).

Accounts, and ending them

You can leave any time — email us and we'll erase your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the app, or puts other users at risk; we'll be straight with you about why when we can. We may also change or shut down LinkCart itself; if that ever happens we'll give notice and a way to take your recipes with you.

Changes to these terms

If we change something that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell signed-in users in the app. Continuing to use LinkCart after that means you're okay with the update.

Where the law lives

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and any dispute goes to the courts there — unless the law where you live says otherwise, in which case that law wins.
